How to Verify Telegram Without Your Personal Phone Number
According to Telegram’s official FAQ, accounts are connected to a mobile phone number. If you do not want to use your personal line, you can buy a virtual number for Telegram SMS verification. This means registering without sharing your personal number, not creating an account with no number at all. In the Onay360 dashboard, choose Telegram and a suitable stocked country, enter the number shown after purchase on the registration screen, and check the verification code in your dashboard.
Verifying a phone number does not mean that other Telegram users can see it. You can manage its visibility separately under Settings > Privacy and Security > Phone Number.
As Telegram explains in its official FAQ, the login code may sometimes be sent to another active Telegram session instead of by SMS. This is Telegram’s own login behavior and is independent of the virtual number service.
Can You Get a Number for a Second Telegram Account?
Telegram requires a separate phone number when you add a second account. If you do not want to use your personal line for that account, choose Telegram and a stocked country in the dashboard, then buy a temporary number. In Telegram, go to Settings > Add Account, enter the number shown in your dashboard, and complete verification with the SMS code.
The important limitation is that the number is temporary. You can use the account while your existing session remains active, but losing that session may affect access if Telegram asks for another SMS and you can no longer receive messages at the number. If you plan to keep the account, follow the account security steps above.
Which Country Should You Choose for a Telegram Virtual Number?
Telegram virtual number options vary by country and current stock. When you buy a phone number for Telegram, compare the stock and prices of the countries listed in the dashboard. Countries are not sorted by price alone, so the lowest-priced option may not appear first. No specific number is guaranteed to be accepted by Telegram or receive the SMS code.
When you enable Recommended Countries on the purchase screen, the system filters stocked countries that have success data and ranks them using recent success rates and stock. The rate itself is not displayed; you see the country, stock, and price. Recommended Countries is not a cheapest-first list and does not guarantee verification. If you want to use a foreign number with Telegram, check the country, stock, and price in the dashboard before buying.
What to Do If the Telegram SMS Verification Code Does Not Arrive
If the Telegram code does not arrive, the cause may be Telegram’s login behavior, the country, the carrier, or the provider. First, make sure you entered the number with the correct country code and check whether Telegram sent the code to another active session. Check the order row in your Onay360 dashboard; the code appears there when it arrives.
A 5-minute order window starts when the order opens. If the time runs out before the code arrives, the order closes automatically and the amount returns to your site balance. If you do not want to wait, you can cancel before the window ends, receive the amount back in your balance immediately, and try a different number.
Is It Legal to Use a Telegram Virtual Number?
The answer depends on your purpose and the rules that apply where you live. Verifying one account without sharing your personal line is not the same as creating spam, bulk, or automated accounts. Onay360 provides the service only for SMS verification and does not guarantee that an account will remain unrestricted.
Telegram’s Terms of Service prohibit spam, fraud, and illegal use. Use the number only for legitimate account verification.
